It's a well-known fact in workplace circles that if you stand on a street corner and shout "Millennials!" five times, an agent from a publishing company will run up and offer you a lucrative book deal.
Such is the overwhelming interest these days in the younger generation of workers, an interest that makes pragmatic sense.
A recent Pew Research Center analysis of U.S. Census Bureau data found that more than one in three current U.S. workers are millennials, defined as adults age 18 to 34. This year, they became the largest segment of the American workforce, leaving my beloved Generation X in the dust.
